Corvid 19 is approaching. And my cat sleeps.

The city is closed down. And my cat sleeps.

People are tense and lonely. And my cat sleeps

Anxiety grows. Yet, my cat sleeps.

Restaurants are closed. My cat doesn’t care. Still he sleeps.

I’ll be stuck in the house for weeks. And my cat sleeps.

I wonder how bad this will be. And my cat sleeps.

I go to the kitchen to fix lunch. Not even a meow.

I crunch and slurp my lunch. Still my cat sleeps.

The national news reports are terrible. And my cat sleeps.

I feel a sense of panic. Yet, my cat sleeps.

I wonder about tomorrow. And my cat sleeps.

I turn off the TV and radio. My cat still sleeps.

I envy my cats tranquility. He still sleeps.
